How do I book a car?
Fill in the booking form, call +233 24 915 1503 or send a WhatsApp message. Tell us the car, your dates and where you need it. We reply with availability and the confirmed price.
How much is the deposit to confirm a booking?
A 40% deposit holds the car for your dates. The balance is paid when you receive the car or meet your driver.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AT Money), bank transfer and cash, in Ghana cedis or US dollars.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes. Tell us as early as you can and we move your dates if the car is free. The cancellation terms that apply to your booking are written on your confirmation.
Are the prices on the website final?
They are guide rates per day in Accra. The final price depends on your dates, the car and the route, and you receive it in writing before you pay anything.
Self-drive
What do I need to rent a car without a driver?
A valid driving licence, your passport or Ghana Card, and a refundable security deposit. Drivers must be at least 23 years old with two years of driving experience.
Can I drive in Ghana with a foreign licence?
Visitors should carry their home licence together with an International Driving Permit, plus their passport. Keep all three in the car, as police checkpoints may ask for them.
Is fuel included?
No. The car comes with a full tank and you return it full. If it comes back with less, the missing fuel is charged at the pump price.
What happens if the car breaks down?
Call us straight away. We help by phone and, if the car cannot continue, we arrange a repair or a replacement vehicle.
With a driver
How many hours does the driver work in a day?
The daily rate covers up to 10 hours. Extra hours are charged at an hourly rate agreed when you book.
Who pays for the driver on overnight trips?
On trips that need a night away from Accra, the customer covers the driver's lodging and meals. We tell you the amount with your quote.
Do your drivers speak English?
Yes. All our drivers speak English, and most also speak Twi or Ga.
Airport and travel outside Accra
Where does the driver meet me at Kotoka?
In the arrivals hall of Terminal 3 for international flights, holding a board with your name. You receive the driver's name and phone number before you fly.
What if my flight is delayed?
We ask for your flight number so the driver can follow the arrival time and adjust. Please message us if you miss a connection.
Can I rent a car in one city and return it in another?
Yes, by arrangement. A one-way fee applies to cover bringing the car back. Ask for it in your quote.
Do you go to northern Ghana?
Yes. For Tamale, Mole National Park and the Upper Regions we recommend a 4x4 with a driver. Many customers fly to Tamale and have the car meet them there.
