How many hours is a half-day?
A half-day block is around four to five hours. You choose the start time, morning or afternoon, and the block runs from there. If your plans need a little more or less, tell us when you book and we will fit the block to them.
How much does a half-day cost?
Half-day hire is quoted individually rather than worked out from a fixed formula. Our day rates are a useful reference: a Corolla from GH₵800 a day, a RAV4 at GH₵1,200 a day and a Prado at GH₵1,600 a day. Send us your plans on WhatsApp and we will reply with a clear figure for your vehicle and hours.
Is a half-day better value than a full day?
If your plans fit into four or five hours, a half-day usually makes more sense, because you are not paying for hours you will not use. A full day suits a longer schedule, a trip out to Kasoa or Cape Coast, or a run that starts early and keeps going. If you are unsure, describe your plans and we will tell you which is better.
Which vehicle should I choose?
For one or two people with light bags, a Corolla is comfortable and sensible in city traffic. A RAV4 gives more room for luggage or a small group, and a Prado suits bigger groups or rougher roads. Tell us how many people are travelling and what you are carrying, and we will suggest the right car.
Can I extend the half-day if we run late?
Often, yes, but it depends on the driver's next booking and the time of day. Tell us as early as you can, ideally on WhatsApp, and we will check and confirm any extra time and cost before it starts. We would rather agree it early than surprise you at the end of the block.

Message us on WhatsApp at +233 24 915 1503 with your date, start time, the places you need to reach and how many people are coming, or email info@carrentalgh.com. We reply with a quote. Pay by Mobile Money, bank transfer or cash, arranged directly with us, as there is no online payment on the website.
